Not too bad

Such a nice Monday. I never thought a phrase like this would ever come out of my mouth... or in this case my keyboard and yet I must say... no monday blues at all!
It's hard to explain.
The week-end was good, but not brilliant enough to be nostalgic about it. The sympathetic weather was a nice break from our early Irish winter chills and I went for some shopping therapy which helps (until I check my bank account statement, but I've got a trick: I only check it on payday). I learned a few things on the Eurozone price discrepancies during that shopping trip. I went to Mango to invest in a new coat, and the shop inadvertently didn't change the Spanish price tag... I was surprised to find such an affordable coat until the cash register lady scanned the tag and the coat miraculously increased by 30 euros! The good lady explained that someone must have forgotten to replace the tag with the Irish price, and I ended up paying anyway as I thought it was still a normal price for a coat (please note, I do not use normal as a synonymous for cheap... it's still Dublin).
Now though, I don't need dodgy comparisons between the price of a sandwich in Ireland vs France to get the rip-off Ireland concept. The coat experience gave me a pretty good insight.

So today is not a bad day. The weather has improved since last week. We've got 17 degrees today, yeah! (living in Ireland teaches you not to be too demanding weather-wise)
Work is also oddly quiet. It feels like a Friday. Everybody around me is stretching, yawning, and/or browsing the web. Too sleepy to have a chat with my workmates though, only a little slagging when Sylvain starts flirting with a female customer on the phone. One needs to remain entertained.
