Yep, still alive....
I could find myself a few excuses for not updating this blog in a while, but I won't bother.Previously in my life:
- a couple of days in Westport for a work training. Good to be on the West coast, but pretty chilly, rainy and windy.
- my 14 year-old niece over for a couple of weeks. Thrilled to be with us and get away from parents and stuff, but a bit of an attention seeker, so very tiring for me as I'd just like to crash on the couch after the crazy days I spend at work.
-Work. Well, crazy really. I try to get there at around 7 am, not much time for a lunch break, and finish at 5.00 at the earliest (if the niece wants to go shopping). More often 5.30 or 6.oo. The team I'm managing is growing weekly, and boosted on testosterone (I'm a boss to 5 men). Then I'll start managing the German/Austrian team as well by the end of summer. So I'm gonna have to learn German. I'm happy.
- Last saturday, I visited my friend and Chinese teacher Fang who just had a baby girl (June 8). Half Chinese/half French. Look at this little thing...
Last but not least, I've finally bought my mp3 player. Went for the Creative Zen Microphoto 8GB. I could write a whole list of why iPods are not worth buying (price and performance-wise...), so I'm quite glad with my new toy.
- Now, off to France in two days... the dangling carrot that keeps me going. I'm a wreck.
